AITI USES COMPETENCY BASED PRACTITIONER ASSESSMENT to DEVELOP QUALIFIED AIT PROVIDERS

The AITI has developed a series of seminars and supervision that result in the  practice  certification of qualified candidates. The certification process is designed to assess key competencies necessary for effective clinical application of AIT.  Certification  has four components:

  • BASICS:  Basics a 3-day seminar that provides successful, innovative, energetic methods for treating non-psychotic psychological dysfunctions quickly, gently, lastingly and easily. To register for Basics : click here.

  •  POST-BASIC SUPERVISION: In Supervision, you will discuss, review and clarify elements of the training. You will present the cases of two clients with whom you are using AIT. Each case presentation  will detail how you introduced AIT to each client and the key AIT Basics principles and methods you used for treatment. Certification supervision and number of sessions required are offered in a variety of formats:
  • 2 individual supervision sessions
  • 4 supervision sessions shared with one colleague: each participant presents twice and you learn from your partner’s presentations
  • 6 supervision sessions shared with two colleagues: each participant presents twice and you learn from your colleagues’ presentations
  • In-person group supervision

  • MASTERING AIT PRACTICE: MAP guides your skills to new levels of clarity, confidence, and competency. Detailed teaching, case discussions, exercises and demonstrations  show how to move easily from your first session with a client, to analysis and development of a successful treatment plan. • POST-MAP SUPERVISIONThis supervision focuses on AIT analysis, treatment plan development and process, ego assessment and strengthening and diagnosis. You present two cases that demonstrate your understanding of the MAP materials. The supervisor assists you in integrating AIT into your practice. Certification supervision and number of sessions required are offered in several ways:
  • 2 individual supervision sessions
  • 4 supervision sessions shared with one colleague: each participant presents twice; you  learn from your partner’s presentations
  • 6 supervision sessions shared with two colleagues: each participant presents twice, and you learn from your colleagues’ presentations
  • In-person group supervision
  • To find a supervisor: click here.

AIT supervision is offered in several languages. Each supervisor sets his or her own fee and schedule.

Please Note…

Attendance at the required sessions does not guarantee certification.  Supervisors assess the competencies you have gained through participation. The supervisor assesses understanding of and competence with the AIT materials and protocols. Students who cannot demonstrate effective skills will be offered further supervision or mentoring at their expense until they demonstrate the requisite proficiency.  Re-attendance at required courses may be suggested.
